ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – Minnesota is reminding hunters and trappers to buy their wolf hunting licenses by tomorrow or they’ll be sold to others. The Department of Natural Resources offered late-season licenses through a lottery. ORONO, Minn. (AP) – Pianist Lorie Line is facing foreclosure on her Lake Minnetonka mansion. Court documents show Line and her husband owe more than $2 million on the 9,100-square-foot house in Orono. It was listed for sale last month at $3.9 million. Line’s husband says the couple is restructuring their business and working with their lender to avoid a sheriff’s sale.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – A committee charged with recommending security upgrades for the 17-building Minnesota Capitol complex expects to review a preliminary report next month. The report will include recommendations about staffing levels for security personnel and physical changes to the Capitol complex intended to minimize threats. They expect to approve a plan by mid-January.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Authorities in Hennepin County plan to have an underwater remote-operated vehicle to help rescue and recover drowning victims. County commissioners approved an agreement yesterday with federal officials for a $145,000 grant to purchase the device. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office would operate and maintain it.
