At the Golf Course, families will enjoy the build-your-own Trail Mix station and compete in put-put golf then return for the pasta feed and games at Waldorf College. :
Historic program at Mason City
The dedication for the Leo Gribben Memorial will be held tomorrow (Tues) at 10:00 AM at the Elmwood st Joseph cemetery in mason city.
The memorial includes the restored limestone columns and wrought iron fences at the original entrance to the cemetery which was funded in part by the History Walk funds.
Last September, peter and Katherine gribbon who immigrated from Ireland, were 2 of the charactors portrayed in the historical cemetery walk.
The ceremony will tell the stories of the people involved and include an expression of appreciation to the family and a prayer of blessing and dedication. The family requests the event be informal with casual attire preferred. The public is invited to attend. For more information contact randy opheim at 641 421 3687.
